WHAT IS A  LIP BLUSH TATTOO?

Lip Blush Tattoo it’s either a great alternative to fillers or surgery or it can be done in conjunction with these procedures. Many of our clients do both to maximize the effectiveness of lip enhancement treatments.

Lip blush can enhance the beauty of natural lip color, correct asymmetry, and add fullness and definition. With the help of this treatment, it is possible to correct the fading color of lips that is always associated with aging. Results are customized for every client.

LIP BLUSH COLORS

Pigments colors are available in many different shades. Every shade is customized  to match your natural lip color. At NOTO, we can mix a few shades to achieve the perfect blend. It depends also on your preferences, some clients are looking for an ultra-natural outcome, while others choose lighter or darker pigments. The goal is to give lips life and a natural boost of color without being too dramatic. Pigment choice is important; any blue, purple, or brown undertones must be balanced with orange modifying pigments. The natural skin and lip tone have to be always considered and it might require few visits to achieve certain results. Darker and cooler lips might need more sessions to get the desired results.

HOW LONG DOES LIP BLUSH LAST?

Lip Blush can last for up to 2-4 years.  It depends on your body’s metabolism, lifestyle, habits like smoking, and sun exposure. The use of exfoliating products can speed the fading process 

usually the darker color you pick the longer it will be visible. If you don’t like the shade, it can be always adjusted after the healing process is over (6-8 weeks). It is recommended to refresh the color annually. 

DOES LIP BLUSH HURT?

A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to ensure comfort. You will feel some stippling or scratching sensation as the pigment is applied. Make sure your lips are moisturized before the treatment, this could help with the faster application and better-healed results. Cracked, chapped, and dry lips will not take pigment well and will not heal nicely. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

It is good to reserve at least  three hours for this procedure, depending on your skin. A big part of the lip blush color procedure is consultation, numbing, and pre-drawing to find the perfect shape. The time of service varies depending on how fast your skin takes the pigment and the look you are going for. The more we layer the pigment, the longer it takes.

WHAT IF I WANT TO WEAR A DIFFERENT LIP COLOR?

This procedure does not replace your lipstick, it gives a natural, blushy tint and life to your lips, especially during weekly work, at the gym, pool, or any other activities, plus it won't smudge like a regular lip gloss. Whenever you have a special event and you feel you want darker lipstick just go for it! 

PLEASE NOTE: For a Lipstick look , more sessions may be needed to achieve your desired look.

DARK LIP NEUTRALIZATION

Dark Lip neutralization is a specialized treatment for those with cool or dark-toned lips in which we color correct and neutralize the darkness in lips.  Melanin neutralization is a process. At the first lip color neutralization session, it is important to neutralize cool tones and lift the darkness of lips with a help of warm-based pigment and then work with red-based colors. Not every client is a candidate for this procedure, but for many, it is a life-changing experience. 

CAN I GET LIP BLUSH IF I HAVE DARK/COOL TONED LIPS?

Yes, however, on the first session we will have to color correct your lips to cancel out the cool tones. This means the initial color we tattoo MUST be an orange tone to neutralize the color of your lips.  If we are to tattoo any other color you risk darkening your lips further or having absolutely no results at all. When healed at 8-12 weeks, some of the darkness in your lips will be covered and your lips will have a nudey-pink even tone.  Note that results cannot be guaranteed and lightening or evening out dark lips may take a few sessions in most cases due to hyper/hypo-pigmentation.  Under no circumstances will we tattoo a "NUDE" color on dark or cool toned lips. This service does require a consultation prior to scheduling to discuss expectations and to explain the process thoroughly.

Color neutralization "may need more than one touch up to achieve the desired outcome".  Patience is key with color corrections and trusting the process. Results will not be immediate with dark lip correction. The entire 8-12 weeks will be needed to access the results.

Permanent Eyeliner frames the eyes and can make eyelashes appear thicker, darker and fuller. It eliminates the need to apply eyeliner with (makeup) pencil or liquid eyeliner. It can enhance the shape or balance the symmetry of an individual eyes, create the illusion of larger eyes, or affect how the spacing of the eyes is perceived. Permanent Eyeliner can also enhance or intensify eye color and make eyes appear brighter.

For those who like a more natural look, eyeliner is enhanced on the base of the lashes making it appear as though you have full and thick lashes.

For those who like a more dramatic look. Depending on the individual skin, permanent makeup eyeliner can be build up to the desired thickness over the course of multiple sessions.

The procedure is done in two appointments. During the first session we err on the side of caution with thickness, length and color as we can always add more at the second session. It's always a good idea to have a "natural" and "conservative" amount of permanent eyeliner applied, at least during your first session.

Permanent Lash Enhancement is for those who like a more natural look, eyeliner is enhanced on the base of the lashes making it appear as though you have fuller lashes. It creates a subtle and natural look.  The effect will allow you to not have to worry about it smudging, running or wearing off.  It can enhance the shape or balance the symmetry of an individual eyes, create the illusion of larger eyes, or affect how the spacing of the eyes is perceived. Permanent Lash Enhancement can also enhance or intensify eye color and make eyes appear brighter.
